Hidden Treasures
This work shows the location of the clean water and sewer pipes underground. Created to add appreciation towards the seemingly obvious, the work brings into view two important facilities that serve us underneath the surfaces of our cities.
Although one of the historically first issues addressed by cities, clean water and effective sewage systems reman unavailable to most citizens of the world today. The text written on the lines is planned to have facts about the distribution of water in todays cities.
This was one of the designs I made while working as an artist in a street design team in summer 2015 at Ramboll.
